Through my practice I aspire creating a thematically juxtaposing traditional cowboy masculinity with fine craft and footwear, refining skills and my product to current fashions and styles.
The non commercial project I'm most proud of has been training and working with Clint Bryant at C.B. Western Works in CA USA. Learning from Clint, a third generation bootmaker, set the tone and inspired my boot making career. Clint has been constructing traditional vaquero cowboy boots, a craft originating in 16th century Spain, for everything from Hollywood productions to museums for over 40 years.
