Freelance leather craftsman, boot maker and textile artist.

While doing my degree at Chelsea College of Art & Design I specialised in silk screen printing, which transitioning into into leatherwork and has now become my predominant craft. I developed my skills and passion for this work further through attending Capel Manor College where I trained in Saddlery. Prior to this I enrolled in an apprenticeship with C.B. Western Works in Los Angeles studying boot-making, and continue my training there between jobs. Current I am training with Horrace & Batten a UK based heritage equestrian boot company.

Costume and prop design for film have combined my two disciplines and it has allowed me to expand my skillset in a unique way. Working as part of a large department in film has also furthered my team skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues to meet tough deadlines. I have also had the opportunity to work solely on developing principle pieces.

In between projects I allocate myself time to reinstate my life drawing practice and complete one-off commissions for private clients including illustration, prints or boot-making.
